A clear brief. An agreed scope.
These terms explain what happens when you contact Azulo, request a quote or begin discussing a creative or custom printing project through this website. Submitting an enquiry starts a conversation. It does not, by itself, create an order or project agreement.
1. Enquiries and project approval
Submitting a form, sending an email or discussing a project with Azulo is an enquiry only. Before work begins, the relevant project requirements will normally be documented in a written quote, proposal, scope of work or other agreed project document. Depending on the project, this may include:
- agreed deliverables
- project scope
- pricing and GST, where applicable
- payment arrangements
- review or revision stages
- estimated timing
- client responsibilities
- production or delivery requirements
- any project-specific terms
A project only proceeds once the required proposal or quote has been accepted and any stated commencement requirements have been met.
2. Quotes and pricing
Quotes are prepared using the information available when the quote is issued. Unless stated otherwise, pricing applies only to the scope, quantities, deliverables and requirements described in that quote. If the brief changes, additional work is requested or information supplied later affects the scope, Azulo may provide revised pricing before proceeding with the affected work. Any quote expiry date, payment schedule, deposit requirement or GST treatment will be stated in the relevant quote or proposal.
3. Project scope and changes
We aim to make the agreed scope clear before work begins. If you request work outside the approved scope, we will let you know where that change may affect:
- pricing
- timing
- deliverables
- production requirements
- review stages
Additional work will not be assumed to be included simply because it relates to the original project. Where appropriate, scope changes will be confirmed before the additional work proceeds.
4. Client information and approvals
Project timing often depends on information, content and feedback supplied by the client. You are responsible for providing reasonably accurate project information and, where required:
- copy and content
- logos or artwork
- brand assets
- product information
- approvals
- feedback
- account or platform access
- printing specifications
- delivery information
Delays in receiving required information or approval may affect the project timeline. When you approve artwork, content, layouts, proofs or other project materials, Azulo may rely on that approval when progressing to the next stage.
5. Artwork, content and materials you provide
Only send Azulo artwork, photographs, logos, fonts, copy, data or other materials that you are authorised to use and share. By providing material for a project, you confirm that you have the necessary permission to allow Azulo to use it for the agreed project purpose. Please tell us about any:
- copyright restrictions
- trademark restrictions
- licence conditions
- expiry dates
- usage limitations
- confidentiality requirements
Azulo is not responsible for independently establishing ownership of every client-supplied asset unless that verification is specifically included in the project scope.
6. Creative work and intellectual property
Ownership and usage rights for work created by Azulo will be set out in the relevant proposal, quote or project agreement where required. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, working files, unused concepts, drafts, internal production materials and development resources should not be assumed to form part of the final deliverables. Third-party assets such as fonts, stock imagery, software, plugins or licensed materials may remain subject to their own licence conditions. Where a project involves transfer or licence of final creative work, the applicable rights should be confirmed before completion.
7. Custom printing and branded products
Custom printing projects depend on the specific product, artwork, quantity, decoration method, availability and delivery requirements. Your quote may confirm details such as:
- product or garment
- colour
- sizes
- quantities
- print or decoration method
- artwork placement
- production timing
- delivery or collection arrangements
Website images and mockups are intended to help communicate a concept or product direction unless expressly confirmed as an exact product specification.
8. Artwork proofs and printing approval
Where a proof or artwork approval is provided before production, please review it carefully. Check details including:
- spelling
- artwork
- colours
- logo version
- positioning
- dimensions
- quantities
- garment or product details
Once production has started following approval, changes may no longer be possible or may result in additional cost and revised timing. Screen colours can also differ from physical print output, materials and production methods. Where exact colour matching is critical, tell Azulo before approving production so available options can be discussed.
9. Product availability and substitutions
Garment, paper, promotional product and material availability can change. If an agreed product becomes unavailable before production, Azulo will discuss available alternatives before making a material substitution that changes the agreed order. Any difference in price, specification or timing should be confirmed before proceeding where relevant.
10. Timelines and delivery dates
Any timing provided before the scope and required information are confirmed should be treated as an estimate. Project and production schedules may depend on factors including:
- client approvals
- artwork readiness
- product availability
- supplier lead times
- production capacity
- third-party services
- delivery networks
If you have a fixed launch, event or delivery date, tell us before accepting the quote. Where a specific completion date forms part of the agreed project, it should be recorded in the project documents.
11. Payments
Payment requirements will be stated in the relevant quote, proposal or invoice. Depending on the project, Azulo may require:
- a deposit before work begins
- staged payments
- payment before production
- payment before final files or goods are released
Work or production may be paused where an amount that is due remains unpaid, subject to the applicable project terms and Australian law.
12. Cancellations and project pauses
Cancellation and refund arrangements depend on the project and the stage reached when cancellation occurs. Costs may already have been incurred for:
- completed creative work
- project planning
- purchased products or materials
- supplier commitments
- printing or production
- third-party services
Any project-specific cancellation arrangements should be stated in the applicable quote or proposal. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Third-party services
Some projects may involve external providers such as:
- printers and manufacturers
- couriers
- hosting providers
- software platforms
- domain providers
- stock libraries
- plugins or applications
Where third-party products or services are involved, their own terms, availability, licences and operating requirements may also apply. Azulo will identify significant third-party requirements where they form part of the agreed scope.
14. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Project Enquiry Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Where the Australian Consumer Law applies, goods and services may come with statutory consumer guarantees in addition to any project-specific commitments made by Azulo.
